Also known as "fluid painting," paint pouring is a technique that allows paint to move independently, with only slight guidance from the artist. The paint is often mixed with a medium that better liquefies the product, allowing it to flow easily over a canvas.  By tilting, swirling, mixing, and layering the paint, artists can direct the medium to create effects such as the ones you'll see in my website. Many times, the paint travels and even overflows over the canvas which causes the final product to look vastly different after it has fully dried - a process that takes several days. I love this technique because each piece is unique, impossible to reproduce, and requires lots of patience and imagination.
